The perfect classic adventure from Courchevel
Next we will go to the Brothers Islands, which are a state reserve, you can only get here on safari. A huge variety of soft and hard corals and coral fish that attract predators lives and grows on the underwater slopes of the islands. Here you can often find flocks of tuna, barracudas and mackerel chasing prey. We will see manta rays (sea devils) and sharks of different species: longimanuses, fox sharks and even hammerheads. We will also look for a whale shark and visit dolphin .
Among the large fish living in these waters, the hammerhead fish dominates. It was these sharks that led to many deaths during the biggest maritime disaster in Egypt – the wreck of the Salem Express ferry in December 1991. The ferry hit a reef a few miles offshore and sank within 3 minutes. About 1,300 out of 1,600 passengers died, many due to shark attacks. At the request of the group, we will go to the Salem Express.
